Not Today Corrrrrrona...

In the words of Dr. Jody Carrington, 'Not today Corrrrona!!' {Roll that R!} We are not about to let this virus win over the love and connection we have built with our amazing community.

We are in unprecedented times (We understand, enough with that word!), but we are. We have never been down this road, nor have those before us. We are all missing the gentle embrace from our neighbors, the simple handshake as we meet a new friend. We know that this too will pass, it's the new normal that is going to come from this COVID time that will be different. That's okay, we will get through this together!

We wanted to take this time to share with you all that we continue to sew the seeds that will grow and nourish our souls. We are practising distancing... closer to 20' apart though. Amazing how much room a greenhouse has when it is empty! We are seeing growth and those seedlings are giving us hope for a bright future. Audrey Hepburn said it best 'To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow'.

With constantly monitoring recommendations set forth by Alberta Health Services, as well as the World Health Organization, we are taking the steps to 'flatten the curve.' We are working on some ways in which we get fresh vegetables from our farm to your table, limiting exposure to all of us.

As we are waiting for this pandemic to end and the snow to melt, we ask that you consider donating to the Food Bank in your area. Many people are losing their jobs and times are difficult, if we rally around those who are in need we will all come out of this stronger than ever.

If funds are tight, we understand. Call those neighbors in your community who may be in need of assistance, shovel a sidewalk, FaceTime an old friend or wave at those who walk by- it's the little things that mean the most right now. We just need to be a little creative these days!

Last but not least, we want to THANK every single person who is on the frontlines of this pandemic. From our Government, Doctors, Nurses, Emergency Services, Teachers, Grocery Stores, Truck Drivers, there are soooo many of you, we'd be here all day. THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU. Your sacrifice does not go unnoticed.

Keep safe friends and we look forward to seeing you all very soon.
